This Paper Punching Activity Set offers a purposeful fine motor exercise that connects naturally with gluing work. The child is invited to take a prepared paper strip from the tall basket, slide it into the large paper punch, press down with control, and collect the punched paper shapes in the small round basket.

The included paper is double-sided with different colors on the front and back, making the finished cutout shapes especially attractive for later gluing activities. Teachers or adults may cut the square paper into narrow strips before presenting the work (each 15 × 15 cm double-sided colored paper can be cut into 4 equal paper strips before presentation). The prepared paper strips are placed upright in the tall basket, making them easy for the child to grasp and insert into the paper punch.), allowing the child to focus on the isolated movement of placing, pressing, and collecting.

The large-size paper punch is easier for young hands to operate than a small craft punch, supporting hand strength, coordination, concentration, and independence. The complete set is presented on a beechwood tray with natural woven baskets for an orderly Montessori shelf presentation.
